Munib Al Masri: Starmer must apologise for colonial rule in Palestine

A Palestinian businessman who was shot by occupying British soldiers as a child has said it is time for the UK to “reckon with her legacy”.

Munib Al Masri, a 91-year-old industrialist and philanthropist born in Nablus, has demanded that the UK Government issue a formal apology for the crimes imperial troops carried out during British rule in Mandatory Palestine.
